The cover is ripped In the hand of a host Ink has long faded And content is lost
The spine is straight But the gold has gone An indent remains Of a title from lore
I read out its wisdom To a deaf crowd Do the phrases do justice Or am I just proud
The writer writes And the sleep is slight The dreamer dreams Of the wakeful mans plight

Midlogue Jaak hated life. Not the act of living ones self but the ideal behind life. To grow up, marry, have children and make the same mistakes his parents did, it wasnt for him. To fall in love and sit around tables enjoying meals that have taken hours to prepare? No. To do the things you hate because everyone else does or says to? Not Jaak. Never.Midlogue
He hated beauty and the connotations that are associated with it. He hated the way couples held hands and everything it represented. He hated all things precious, dear, cute, warm, fuzzy and happy. He even hated his dead parent


The Boy and the Playground The boy sat on the warm rock and looked across the grassy park before him. He watched the breeze sway the high trees gently, the leaves pulled by the wind as if waving to him. It was the only movement in his selected view so he watched and watched. The empty stretch of grass was too hard for him to gaze upon.
